This piece for us was about being at the right place at the right time. During a location scout for a different project, Greg stumbled upon this Chinese New Year celebration while ridding his bike through Seattle's International District/China Town. The Lunar New Year celebration is the final day of a 15 day celebration. Each year is associated with one of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac. For 2013, it is the year of the Snake. People born during the year of the Snake are said to be keen and determined and have the ability to maneuver themselves toward their destinies. Let this year be a year of focus and fruition as we all work wholeheartedly and honestly toward our own goals and destinies. The skilled lion dancers are from,  NW Kung Fu & Fitness, lead by Sifu David F. Leong.
